Yes, it's always great when kids take photographs of body parts that normally get so neglected. At least later on you'll be able to say, "And this is what my knees used to look like."
Every time I pick my cell/mobile phone up it has a different wallpaper, or whatever it's called. Invariably a photo of the left nostril of one of my darlings!
I think it's very arty. Creative. Meaningful. A statement. Frame it, get it on the wall of a local coffee shop with a label, and you'll find yourself 40 quid richer in no time.
Just wonderful. Eons ago I let a very yong cousin 'use' my camera (her mother was terrified it would break .. it didnt) and the photo she took was sort of like the one you posted .. the POV of a small 'person' is always so unique and telling.
I think these are great photos! Of course, we just watched this documentary about a photographer who tries to help kids find a better life by teaching them photography, so I learned to look at these pictures differently. Kids have such a unique way of seeing the world....and, well, they see your knees a lot.
... er... and these ones got binned. House to junkified.

ReplyDeleteAye, my kids know they are welcome to pick up my camera and focus on whatever catches their fancy!
ReplyDeleteSee, there's three photos you'd never have seen if the kids didn't have cameras.

ReplyDeleteFabulous! We gave our 3 year old the camera for the first time a few weeks ago and the results were hysterical!
