Pressing the Pause Button

I wanted to write something deep, funny or meaningful for my 50th post. Instead, I must write about injustice. Nobody in the UK is able to sell their house at the moment (we didn't, and our house in Cheshire is now full of tenants). Nobody, except for the people who own the house we're renting. They've sold it. So we have to move out in a couple of weeks. Bah humbug. So again, I'm feeling ever so slightly overwhelmed by life's crappy jobs, and will have to neglect my blog again for a while.

I'll come round and say hi when we're all settled in to the new place! Blogbye for now ...

  6. that sucks! but i'm sure everything will sort itself out soon. until then, take care and see you when you get back.

p.s. market sucks here, too...my husband doesn't even want to know what our house is worth now. lots of people, who can't afford their homes anymore, put them up for sale.

  7. I'm so sorry to hear about that, it will really slow you up for a while, but congrats on your 50th post. Really hope that you have managed to find somewhere nice to move to and can't wait to hear all about it!

PS Trip to Grampa's went well.

  8. I so understand your house pain GBS - not one call from the estate agent since we put the house on the market, endless tidying and cleaning, all for nowt. I'm in despair too, people must want to move, musn't they? x

  10. Oh man! Moving is stressful enough, but doubly so when it wasn't your idea. Sorry about that. Breathe and let us know when you're settled.
